Fabiolus Cucina has been a destination restaurant for Hollywood locals and people from all over the world. Since January 2016, Fabiolus Cucina has been acquired by CB Group. Owner Operator Mauro Corbia has teamed up with his brother, Executive Chef Sergio Corbia, to bring quality and authentic Italian flair inspired by their hometown of Sardinia, Italy.

Their success has not gone unnoticed evident by the 800+ reviews on popular sites like Yelp, OpenTable, TripAdvisor, and Google Reviews. They are also a go-to destination and catering provider for large events and private parties. They offer indoor seating as well as outdoor seating in a charming patio with parking access in the back of the restaurant.

Meet The Owners

Mauro Corbia

Born and raised on the island of Sardinia, Italy, Mauro Corbia grew up in a culinary family that valued fresh ingredients and simple, traditional dishes.

In 1992, he co-founded Mauro’s Café inside Fred Segal Melrose, which quickly became a world-renowned hotspot celebrated by celebrities and loyal guests alike. Known for its approachable menu and stylish atmosphere, the café set the stage for Mauro’s reputation as a hospitality leader.

Today, Mauro brings that same passion and expertise to Fabiolus Cucina. With his hands-on management style, welcoming presence, and commitment to authentic Italian dining, he ensures every guest feels at home while enjoying a warm, memorable meal.

Sergio Corbia

Sergio Corbia first made his mark as the creative force behind Mauro’s Café inside Fred Segal, a beloved celebrity hotspot known around the world.

As Co-Owner and Executive Chef, he earned a reputation for welcoming guests from every corner of the globe and sharing his passion for authentic Italian cuisine.

At Fabiolus Cucina, Chef Sergio continues that tradition by crafting warm, family-style dining experiences inspired by the regional flavors of his Sardinian roots. Alongside his dedicated team, he creates daily specials that keep guests returning time and again.
